It's nearly midnight now here in Alaska. My map is probably half done and has survived so far, although there was a moment when I pondered starting over. I had accidently placed a large castle and roads in the wrong area on the map and did not realize they were going to be a problem until after I had placed them. I ended up solving the problem by tearing a scrap of paper off a sheet I had earlier torn from the roll and cutting the area with the mistake out of the map. A little Elmer's glue allowed me to create a patch area and I simply added a few more mountains and some forest in the area to make the patch invisible unless one looks closely.
I still have to come up with kingdom names that I like for the map, an irritating thing considering how lousy I am at thinking up names, but the world is coming into a more firm focus. And considering how much I had already thought out about this world over the past few years that I have been plotting on this story that adds a lot of details.
My website now includes information on the existance of this Blog. I will add more perminant links into it later on, but or now the "What's New?" entry will be a good enough link.
