Happy Valentines Day - yeah, riiight

I hate Valentines day. It SUCKS. Nothing but a conspiracy by the candy and greeting card companies to get you to spend massive amounts of money during an otherwise slow revenue day for them. And don't even get me started on what the florists have to do with it. Besides Mother's Day and Memorial Day this is the one day of the year them florists make the big bucks. Roses aren't even in season in Febuary and yet they insist you have to give at LEAST a dozen of them to someone if you want them to think that you love them??? "Oh I love you so much I am going to give you these half dead artificually forced to bloom flowers that came from a frozen cargo plane on the tarmac and will be shriveled up and dead by tonight." But hey, it's the thought that counts, right? Yeah, that's what Debeers (sp?) says about their diamond wedding bands as they sit on a very large fortune in diamonds and refuse to release them because then diamonds would be as common as any other crystal. ::shoots Cupid out of the sky::: Stop spreading their propoganda wing-boy.
