I make no secret of my love for Google. They are, in my humble opinion, the best of the best when it comes to search engines and they have just jumped ahead of the others by a large leap. Google is working on a new service called Accessible Search. Accessible Search has a new way of cataloging websites, it checks them for their ease of accessibility, making sites that are easier for the visually impaired to navigate rank highest on their new search page.
I love it because it is going to encourage webmasters to look harder at their code, even if they need to hire a search engine marketing firm, and clean things up a bunch. Thus making the hodgepodge that has been so prevalent online clean up their sites and make the Internet a better place to navigate.
