Went into a store last night and sitting in a cart at the front of the store was a Gateway eMachine that said that the CPU didn't work on it. Thing was originally $497 or something like that and had a $50 price on it. Apparently someone had bought it and brought it back because it didn't work, the store folks apparently popped the case off and couldn't see how to fix it so stuck it out there for $50.
I popped the case off last night and *THINK*, not sure, but I *THINK* that the damn power button wasn't hooked up =-O. Need to catch my broterh and drag him up here to look at it for me, if that's all it is I got a $500 computer for $50 :-D:-D:-D Even if it ain't my bro said that he has all kinds of various parts and such at his place he can prolly fix it for me.
So jazzed. I've never had a brand new computer before. Had ones someone bought n a Salvation Army and used a long time then gave to me. And I got my Lappy from Rent to Own (highly reccomend them folks) - but it was used when I bught it.
Can't wait to get my eMachine fixed so I can play with it.
