Just in time for me to start seriously looking into getting a GPS to go with my ATV I find the sat nav and gps forum. This is a pair of satellite navigation related newsgroups, one focused on the UK and another one that is a global group. These are for those that truly want to learn more about how GPS and SatNav work. Forum discussions cover the various equipment and user experiences with products as well as both basic and technical discussions on handhelds and car fitted systems.The community is free to join and gives you access to ask questions and join in discussions as well as see things not visible to the general site visitor. I suggest at least checking them out rather you own a GPS or SatNat or have been considering buying one or even just want a bit more information on what the hype is all about and why your buddies keep telling you that you have to have one.
