Okay, I'm sure you've heard about what a certain loudmouth said about Michael J. Fox. I'm not sure just what kind of beef Rush Limbaugh has with research, but the man had no right to slander (and I consider it slander) Michael J. Fox. I don't care if he did read a passage from Michael's book as a hot under the collar gal claimed - he had no call to accuse Mr. Fox of acting up his condition - even if he did which I have seen nothing to make me think that is the case.
My grandmother was diagnosed as having Parkinson's, as was my aunt, and my mother has been told that doctors think what she has is Kathrine Hepburn Syndrome. I've been a fan of Mr. Fox for a very long time and I do not think it is fair to attack him for speaking up on something that he feels strongly for. If the right to lifers want to scream about embryonic research then the people who have lived with things such as cancer and Parkinson's, and want to ensure others live long lives without those being a concern, have a right to speak up as well.
For more on Parkinson's please visit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
