Review of Bourne movies

Okay, I like Bourne Identity, but Bourne Surpremacy is like most second movies and had the feel of having been made just to follow up on the success of the first one. I would have been interested in a third movie, think they could have pull it off. Would most deffinately read books on the setting, need to see if there's a book for the Bourne Identity out there - don't recall if it had anything in credits about being from a novel or anything.
