Been doing bookkeeping today

I've been working for most of today on catching up with information on my bookkeeping. I've been slacking off for -- well.. since around 1998 on keeping my accounts balanced. I figure it is about time that I look at what is where and get it all in order and lined out.

I suppose people could say that I have been horribly lazy, but really, there is not much worth recording when your account quite literally goes from August 2000 to April 2004 with no change at all. No deposits, no withdrawls, no finance charges, nothing.

I've decided that it is time to get around to going over things day by day and compiling what changes there have been in my books over the past few years though, get things caught up and logged into my little desk cash book by New Years. (Yes, I'm old fashioned - I do my bookkeeping in a ledger rather than on the computer.)
