Get The Job, not the scams

GetTheJob.com is a vertical search engine that indexes job postings directly from tens of thousands of company websites, it then organizes whose postings into a searchable database.

GetTheJob.com is a vertical search job board featuring over 2 million jobs from direct hire companies only - this means that you will not be sorting through postings from headhunters, third party recruiters or too-good-to-be-true scam jobs in an effort to find the right job.

"Today’s larger job boards are filled with too many questionable and less than legitimate job postings," stated Chris Amato, CEO of GetTheJob.com. "Jobseekers are tired of having to weed through myriad of scam jobs as well as the thousands of contingency recruiter ads fishing for resumes. They want real jobs from real companies. They want to connect with the actual hiring company. Our approach helps get the jobseeker closer to their actual goal, getting a new job."

In addition to that, the database also represents the hidden job market - GetTheJob.com says that 70% of the postings can’t be found on commercial job boards.

According to Rick Fulton, COO of the company, "Our Direct Connect technology links job seekers to each job on the hiring company's web site, not a third party site or third party company. This allows jobseekers to read the entire job description and apply for the job using the companies preferred application method. It might take a little more work for the job seeker to apply, but they’ll be getting closer to the actual decision makers."

A news-ticker-style job banner shows you companies with jobs listed and how many jobs the company has listed. I was able to find jobs such as IT Program Manager for Hewlett-Packard or Home Health Clinician II/PRN for Bay Care Health System.
