I have another monitor - and I LIKE it! - dual monitor computer

I'ts nice. I now have a second monitor on my laptop, using the monitor from my desktop emachine PC that my brother still has not figured out how to get working. I hooked the monitor up to the laptop and went into the settings and told it how to configure it and where the second monitor is at and now I run my little mouse off the main screen where I am working and over to the screen on my left where my reference notes are and back again.

It's great for when I am chatting in AIM, earlier I had the most active windows on my main screen and the websites I was browsing and least active AIM windows on the left screen.

I thought I multitasked before. ::shakes head:: The terrible part is I want to get a third and fourth and ... I want more monitors LOL. Need to get that emachine working, I can trick it out with multitasking monitors from hell and be quite happy. Put all my websites on different screens and start working. LOL!

I have wanted one since I first heard it was possible years ago when I was looking into videography. I recall something about an editing system that had dual monitors so that you could watch the video on one and edit it on the other.

Last year my oldest brother set his computer up with dual monitors, then earlier this year my other brother set his up that way too, so I just decided that since my laptop could handle them and I had a spare from the busted emachine I'd stop procrastinating and set mine up. :-D

It is sooo nice I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. I'm currently working on a new website with the editing program open on one monitor and the site open on the other.
