Lifetime guarantee against loss

Years ago I was traveling back in the Alcan highway with my parents when we stopped at a small roadside service station and while dad filled the car with gas mom and I went into the store that had jewelry and rocks. We looked around some and mom bought me a necklace of a gold unicorn bust with a rhinestone mane and a small ruby eye. I remember in the box with it was a small certificate that guaranteed the necklace against loss. It was such an odd guarantee for someone to offer on a necklace, I mean, who guarantees someone that they will never lose something?

Well, they stand behind their guarantee. Maybe not in replacement of the lost piece, I don't know about that - I've never lost it. I lose things all the time, including my entire jewlery collection several times (once to fire), but whatever kind of charm or luck that little unicorn bust has on him, I've never lost him. Which is, in my opinion, perhaps the most remarkable guarantee I have ever encountered in my life and I just wish that other products had such remarkable guarantees.
