Progressive Direct: Insurance Damage Estimates for The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Have you ever watched a movie and wondered just how much it would cost to repair the damage to that car they just sideswiped? Or maybe wondered what the cost of roof repair would be after the good guy finally shook off that bad guy that jumped on top of the car? How about seeing what Bo and Luke spend in hood repairs on the General after all them slides across the hood?

If so, you're not the only one. And Progressive Direct and Universal Studios Home Entertainment have figured that out. They have teamed up to insert a running tally of the destruction into the recent HD DVD release of "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." As cars smack into one another in Tokyo, a display in a small window keeps track: "Roof repair: $209, taillights: $451, fender: $618.' The calculator is labeled "Progressive Direct: Insurance Damage Estimates." Viewers must choose to turn the calculator on, so it will not interfere with the viewing of the movie for those who do not want to know the damages.
