Okay, Ted is the guy behind PPP and now we have his confession. You can see him fessing up by watching the below video.
I will say, I was caught by surprise. Flaming Tamale's confession was really quiet sound wise, so I had to turn the sound on my laptop up all the way and lean in close... BIG MISTAKE. Don't do that here folks. Well, you can if you want to I suppose, but I've done my part in warning you not to so, go for it if ya wanna.
Okay, for those of you that may be new here and wondering just why I am interested in this guy, this is Ted Murphy - he's the genius behind PayPerPost and the reason I am actually able to make a few dollars from my blogs without slamming my readers with things that have no bearing on the things they are interested in. If you have not checked out PayPerPost yet I encourage you to take a look, just please, look with an open mind as to what you could do with the chance to select who advertises on your blog rather than with a cynical view on how this could be misused. Thanks.
Also, I noticed that it looks like there are a few more confessions that I had missed - I'll dig them up and post them just so you can see what these people are really like. It's like that Trump deal where he fires people meets Big Brother. ::snicker:: (only I don't think Ted's fired anyone yet)
And, lastly, on a personal note - I love the timing on this since I am about to be submitting to PPP a dieting blog that I have been trying to use for months to keep me on my diet. I'm down by around 20 pounds thanks to it, even if I don't stick 100% to my diet. (Had some cookies and chocolate cake for Halloween - bad me.)
I've been struggling with my weight for a while now, having turned into a stress eater after my dad's stroke. That sent me from 135 up to 165 nearly overnight, then over the years since I went up to roughly 220 pounds. That was in August and I have since lost weight down to 199.8 pounds as of my last weight-in last week. I still have a lot of trouble since I do hit and run eating rather than actually sit down to normal meals, but my primary battle is against the twin demons of stress eating and late night munchies. I've added in a bunch of indoor exercises and am working my way toward buying a treadmill as soon as we have my dad his powered wheel chair, so that will help. (Can't walk or run since I have to be close enough to get back to the house fast if my folks need me, well, and since I am damn near deathly afraid of strangers.)
So I'm working on my weight, hope to be down to 165, if not back to 135, by next June. Then I plan to talk to Ted about a PPP Blind Date opp ;-)
