What a difference a few hours makes

Okay, last night when I went to bed Tony Knowles was behind by a fairly significant margin in the unofficial results - 39.34% of the vote for Tony, Sarah Palin having 49.75% with 345 of 439 precincts reporting.

This morning the unofficial results show 431 of 439 precincts reporting and Tony Knowles has 40.52% of the vote to Palin's 48.70%.

The part that has me holding my breath is independent Halcro - he has 9.63% of the vote - enough that if he was to pass his votes to Tony Knowles we could see a sudden shift with Knowles in the lead instead of Palin. The question I am holding my breath on is if Halcro can still do that today, or if he would have had to have done so last night when they was all saying he would not make any difference if he passed off his votes.
