Take me out to the ball park

I've been to several ball games in my life, starting with a little league game that my brother's friend was a layer in back in the mid 70's. And I must admit that one of my favorite teams has always been the Red Sox. That is why when I saw an opportunity to talk about Spring Training Tickets for the Red Sox I decided that it was something I wanted to do.

Maybe it is that I grew up hearing about the Curse of the Bambino that made me a Red Sox fan. I was among those cheering the win in 2004 when they proved that they had finally beaten the curse. So to get to go and see them play is something that I would dearly love to get to do one day. And let's face it, it helps too that Fort Myers, in Lee County Fl, has been the spring-training home of the Boston Red Sox since 1993. That is icing on the cale so to speak for an Alaskan to visit and see them train, since the temperatures in Alaska are in the double digits below zero at that time of year.
