I find it funny that SnapTint.com is wanting to sponsor a blog posting about window tinting when my brother was showing me just last night that he had got himself a Christmas present. Window tint for his Mustang that has grinning skulls all over it.SnapTint.com has window tint kits for both the car and home that are designed to your measurements. Window tint for the home may at first seem like an odd thing, but I've used it before in my bedroom to help reduce the glare of the sun in my bedroom as I am trying to sleep. It also has benefits such as UV protection, glare reduction, and lowering the cost of cooling the home. Perhaps the best use is the ability to have privacy in your home and still have the window shades open to enjoy the view.
SnapTint.com has sponsored this post about window tint as a way of advising the consumer that there are, unfortunately, poor quality window tinting that is sold in many auto parts stores. Even some installed by tint shops that are more concerned with profits over quality. I've got low quality tint from auto part stores before - it tends to have a low level of adhesion and peeled off the window on its own after only a few days.
