Nice sunny day here in Alaska

It's a lovely day out there today. the sun shining down against the pale snow and creating pale toned blue-gray shadows against the snow.

This picture is taken out my bedroom window out across the garden. About the middle of the picture, under a thick layer of snow, is the garden pond. You can just barely see the edge of the half wine barrel that is sitting at the edge of the pond. It all looks much much better in the spring and summer, I'll try to remember to put up pictures then too.

The sun's low in the sky right now, so the shadows are a lot darker and stretch out across the image coming from the quonset and the house.
