Sun in the winter means cold and Kee birds

As much as I love the beautiful sunlit snow that glistens in blankets of white scattered with ice crystals that glimmer in the light of the sun - it is blasted COLD when the sun is out in the winter!

Why is that? Summer time, clouds mean cold. Wintertime, clouds mean warmth. Why can't we enjoy nice sunny warm winter days?

Yes, it's a nice sunny day here again, and the temperatures have been dropping to bitter coldness. You can hear the Keekee birds... they're flying around up there going "kee kee keeeeerist it's cold!"

Excerpt from The Kee Bird

For this cry is so awe-inspiring
It freezes the blood I'm told,
As the Kee bird flies in the Arctic,
Crying "Kee, Kee, Keerist but it's cold!"
