Moonset and sunrise - just another beautiful Alaskan day ending and begining anew

I was in getting me a late night / early morning snack a little before dawn and was treated to the beautiful sight of the crescent moon descending toward the horizon lit in a brilliant orange tone that as it dropped from sight would have made me think there was a tower of fire on the horizon had I not been watching it as it dropped from view.

It was very beautiful and is now being followed by an amazing sunrise in a 99.99% cloudless sky. Only a thin trail of wispy clouds can be seen in the sky as it fades through blues and soft pastel cream tones along the horizon where the sun is now illuminating my office.
