I sit here late at night listening to the sound of the news in the front room and the wind outside the house. It's late, after 1 in the morning, so I'm just sort of drifting in a half thinking haze trying to remember that I am supposed to be opening up Word and counting up the total words I have written in Heir to Magic.
It has been a long time since I had a word count on that, but I know I am in Chapter 19, skipped past the block I hit in 18, which means I have to go back and outline what I am going to do about that later.
Right now I am sleepy and trying to decide if I get coffee (dang addiction lol) and work a bit longer, or if I call it a night and go get some sleep.
.... just a few more minutes work, then I'll call it a night. I'm enjoying listening to the wind.
