My new Thunderbird LX

And it is a beautiful day brewing up here in Alaska today, just right for taking off on my ATV later and running up to the library.

I also want to do some looking over of the car I bought. Hehehe.. it's a bit abused, as in someone creamed the passenger side and the driver's door is missing the latch in it so it is held closed with a screw. ::shakes head:: But hey! My brother and nephew own a body shop and my brother has years of experience restoring classic cars! He's in the process now of taking a classic Mustang and removing where some guy installed a T-Top in it (that is VERY weird looking by the way), so he should have no trouble helping me to put this pretty back together.

It has a nasty rod knock in it. Makes it sound like the thunderbird is trying to escape, but I can work on engines. Shoot, what do you expect for a pretty little car that only cost a hundred bucks? She's a little Thunderbird LX, and we was able to drive her home, so she's not a bad investment no matter how you look at her. Here's a picture of each side of her:
