I got a tutorial on building the armature for polymer clay figures off of eBay the other night, and while I am not completely displeased with the tutorial, I did not exactly learn a lot from it either.
I did learn a few minor points, and got some to scale bone structure images, so I am not displeased with the tutorial, but in all honesty it is not something I would have bought had I known I could get the same information through a little leg work online. It would be great for a beginner, but if you already know how to build armatures then it is not really a good one unless you are looking for an expansion on your armature styles.
I had thought the tutorial showed a different way to build an armature, but it showed pretty much the same method that I had worked out on how to build one only with a few changes - I use aluminum foil in my figures and had not known that you can bake epoxy safely.
At least now I know for sure that I am building them right for what I want to achieve even if I am not making my armatures in the same way as the other tutorials I have found.
