Radio to muffle sound

I think I will begin leaving the radio on low behind me as I work, it seems to do a very good job of dampening the sounds from the other room down to a low murmur that I can ignore more easily. Getting distracted by things in the other end of the house is one of the pitfalls of working at home, you can't just tell the rest of the house to stop watching TV and such while you are trying to work.
