This is awful. I have to get the yard ready for winter to descend upon us, but I know that if I go out there and work around the yard I'm just going to make myself sicker.
The trees are all so lovely in their golden leaves, but they are also vibrant reminders that I am out of time, that I need to get busy or I will be shoveling the yard searching for rakes and garden hoses.
Horrid time of the year to come down with the flu, when the weather is cooling off and there is so much to get done. Why can't the flu wait until the first weeks of winter, when the stuff is already all done being put away and you can forget about having to go out there and work for a while?
