I'm working on a little hobgoblin type fellow made from polymer clay. He is my first effort at trying to work with mohair and I have to admit that I am finding the stuff very challenging to work with. I love the effect it produces, but it is a challenge to figure out how to use it I need to create a tool for inserting the fine strands into the little hobgoblin.
You can see him here, he'd to have a little bag for things he has collected slung back over his shoulder as he walks along with a cane. I started testing applying hair to one leg and although you can not see it here I have a little test spot of blond hair on the near side of his face.
