A shoplifter at TJ Maxx store took off when she was about to be caught, leaving behind not only her purse and cell phone, but her son in his stroller. Apparently she was one of two women that panicked and took off running when they were caught shoplifting.
You can find out more about this at The Journal News article. Apparently the stroller was being used as the stash point for the stuff that was being shoplifted.
I'm not sure if the mother got the baby back, but the news article says that the father was contacted and taken to the police station, so I assume either he has his son or the boy is in a foster home for now. I'm still looking for more information on it.
