Unfortunately this is a business trip, so there will be no frills attached to my visit, but I'm not a gambler and am most entertained when I am writing, so Vegas really does not hold the same starry eyed attraction for me as I holds for some people. As I told my mom tonight, I've driven down the strip, that's really all there is to see about Vegas, so I'll be spending my spare time in my room catching up on writing and relaxing. I have a novel to write this November after all. ;-)
But I definitely want to create a trip planner that can help me keep on track with what is going on. And hopefully find the least expensive places to eat while I am there since I am on a tight budget. Something that does sound wonderful that I want to be sure to get a chance to check out is the Steak House at Circus Circus - that might just be my big expense because according to my research at RealTravel the Circus Circus Steak House has taken the "Best Steakhouse in Vegas" award year after year.
It is great to be able to read the blog entries of other travelers at RealTravel as a planning tool for my own trip planner notes, giving me a heads up on things that I might not have thought to look into for places to go for to eat or get out of the heat of the Las Vegas climate coming from the freezing temperatures we have in Alaska right now. If you are planning a trip like me, then I highly recommend spending a little time looking over what RealTravel has on their site to help you find out what other travelers have discovered that you might enjoy as well.
