I talked to my sister on the phone earlier, and she told me that I have to ride the roller coaster at New York New York while I am in Las Vegas. She said it was a great ride and scary as hell because you are at one point zooming upside down over the cars going along the street, then zipping at a building only to careen around the corner at the last moment.
She also said check out the one at the Sahara, and to be warned that it goes twice, not once. She said they don't warn you about that when you get on the thing.
So maybe there is something to do while I am stuck in Las Vegas, we'll see if I can get out and try those roller coasters. My sister grew up on the durned things, going to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm and all the other assorted places in Southern California. She even worked at Magic Mountain for a while, so I trust her that the one at New York New York is going to be a great one to ride on. I still think the Revolution at Magic Mountain was the best ever myself, but then that is the one I rode as much as humanly possible when we lived in Los Angeles.
