Luggage must be tough to survive me

I am in need of new luggage if I am going to be going to these business convention things on a regular basis. Right now I have an older American Tourister rolling flight bag and the new Overland Travelware business bag that I just bought for my laptop. Someday I want to get a really nice set of Samsonite luggage, which is the brand that I grew up hearing about the dependability and durability of. (Aren't they the ones that used to have the gorilla bouncing on the suitcases in the luggage cart? Remember those commercials?) Anyway, I'm not the kindest person on my luggage. I abuse it during the trips and then when it is waiting between trips it becomes storage for things around the house with the occasional use in taking for a road trip around the state of Alaska or being lent to a relative for use. That all necessitates rugged luggage that can stand up to such abuse.
