Behind on NaNoWriMo word count

It is already the 3rs of November, forget where has this year gone, where has this month gone? I'm not yet ready for my trip to Las Vegas, and I am very very far behind in my word count for my NaNoWriMo novel. My little word counter down there is predicting I will only make it to having written 3.9k by the end of the month. That's a little low in the target range that I want to aim for. ::wince::: I must write more on that stuff.

But how do you find the time to write? I wrote what I have in the car riding into town yesterday. Then my copy of yWriter on my laptop decided to go on the fritz and lost all of my writing. I found it in the backup files, but had an awful heart attack before I found it.
