Hotels in Vegas

Okay, the next time I get a chance to go to Las Vegas I think I will do a little more shopping around on the web for hotels in Las Vegas, this time I just booked the first fastest and cheapest I could find, but I want to make sure that next year if I got to the conventions there I shop around more and further in advance.
