There is a lot to see and do in Brisbane, but one of the things I would love to get the chance to do is take a walking tour of the city and photograph various sights such as St John's Anglican Cathedral, seen in the picture to the left and located between Ann Street and Adelaide Street. The Duke of Cornwall & York laid the Foundation Stone for the cathedral in 1901, with the cathedral then being built in two stages. 1901-1910 when the East end of the cathedral and part of the Nave were constructed, then between 1964 and 1968 the remaining two bays of the Nave were completed.
The final bay of the Nave and the west end was scheduled to be completed in 2007.
St John's Anglican Cathedral is the only cathedral under construction which employs traditional medieval building techniques in the world today, making it a must visit site for any fantasy or historical writer, at least it is in my humble opinion. I would love to look into the Hotels in Brisbane and find myself a place where I can stay and just spend an entire vacation exploring the architecture of St John's Anglican Cathedral.
Of course, St John's Anglican Cathedral is not the only reason to look into Brisbane Accomodation there is a lot to see and experience in the city aside from that, including the lovely river walk and museums and other attractions.
And you of course can not go to Australia without visiting Gold Coast theme parks, the beach and getting out to do some shopping. That alone make it necessary to have some Gold Coast Accomodation to let you spend a few days there and properly explore everything that the Gold Coast has to offer.
