Not all beds are made equal - particularly hotel beds

I have slept on a lot of different surfaces as I have traveled around. Nothing gives a person an appreciation for their own comfortable bed at home than sleeping a few nights on a lumpy old mattress in a motel or a roll away bed at some hotel somewhere. I've slept on couches in fancy lodges and on the floors of rooms at resorts.

I even slept on a chair once that had a hide-a-bed in it just like a large sofa but it was a small chair with a single sized mattress that folded away inside of it. That one was at a Air Force Base in Washington and I have always wanted to find myself one of them chairs because it was one of the more comfortable mattresses I have slept on over the years.

Right now I have a queen mattress in a Murphy bed that I bought from my sister. It's reasonably comfortable if you can evade the couple of lumps in it. What I really want to get is one of those beds with a memory foam mattress on it. They are supposed to be one of the most comfortable and really good for the lower back. Sitting here now I keep shifting position because of low back pain, and I hate taking any kind of medicine for it, so a natural way to ease it away when I am sleeping sounds good to me.
