Style in the home

Okay, I guess I am just an old fashioned gal down to the bone, but I have never really cared too much for the look of modern furniture, You know the stuff I mean, it's that stuff that you find in most motels or in New York penthouses.

I suppose it has a nice look to it, yeah, and it looks great in a loft in New York city or a party house in Los Angeles, but I would like to decorate my house with Victorian era antiques one day. Maybe toss in a few replicated pieces of things I can't possibly afford originals of, or some custom built pieces that have the look of antique furniture.

It just seems more homey and comfy than that modern style stuff to me.
