When I did my Christmas shopping in the past, it was a chaotic mess of last minute scrabbling to get what I needed for everyone. I ended up not having anything for half of the people on my shopping list. This year I intend to start my shopping early, and no I am not talking about Black Friday, I mean very early. By the time the sales start on Black Friday I intend to have only a few last minute gifts to purchase.
That is where the black friday ads will come in handy. Last year I found out about BlackFriday.info and found a lot of good deals at stores that I would not have even thought to look at otherwise. It made it very easy to get ready for the holidays. Just a few of the site's features include e-mail alerts on when new Black Friday ads are posted to the site, easily locate your favorite stores by scanning a collection of easy to recognize images of the store's logos/signs. Places I particularly like to check out are Old Navy and Sears.
Buying things on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) is a great way to save money, but the standing in line at five in the morning... yikes. Much much better to find the ads you want online, then shop from the comfort of your computer on Black Friday. Coffee in hand, Christmas list laying beside you on the desk, and no stress of fighting drives all around town and struggling to get into one store after another to get the best deals. Just relax and be ready long in advance by searching the Black Friday ads online and making a list of which ones you want to shop at when the sales start.
