Thinking about the future

As tax season closes in around me I have been thinking more and more about various things that I have to start looking into. Things such as savings plans, health and life insurance and all of those things that just seemed like they were not very important when I was in my 20's. The trouble is, it all takes money, and while I understand that it is cheaper in the long run it is a bit harder in the short term to come up with the money for such things. So, I have decided that as soon as I have finished with my taxes this year I will start doing some serious looking into various insurance and savings plans.
