Flying North for the Summer

Sitting down to work out in the yard today, very lovely day for it, and I hear the honking calls of geese. Looking up I see a gaggle¹ of them flying over head. I had seen some day before yesterday too. All headed toward the west, so probably headed for Big Lake or somewhere in that direction.

I got a couple of pictures of them, but they're not the best pictures of geese in flight so probably won't even bother putting them online when I get them uploaded.

1.A grouping of geese is called a gaggle, although Wikipedia says that when in flight they are a skein. I only ever heard them called gaggle, so I'm calling them a gaggle.
