Springtime Snow in Alaska

Just when you thought that the snowmachining season was at a close in Alaska, the sky starts dumping massive amounts of snow down onto the ground. Yup, for like the third or fourth day this week it is snowing out there again today. Looks like it's nearing a couple of inches of accumulation where I am and still coming down fairly heavily. So much for my plans to ride my bicycle and go for hikes. The cleared roads and trails that we'd had are now back under layers of snow.
