Coordinating getting computers all online

Trying to balance out getting the computers all on the Internet has proven to be a chaotic mess for me, but I think I am getting the hang of it now. I have been working out plans to run wires to specific rooms where they are needed, and will run wireless in the other rooms. What I need to find right now is a good used cisco router or something that I can put in where the main phone line comes into the house. Set up my wireless station in a small office nook off the kitchen or something so I can use my laptop anywhere and run lines to where they need to go from the router in the kitchen mini office area.
