Have you ever thought it would be nice to just get on a sailboat and drift away? Harbored a secret desire to see the world. Maybe you have thought it would be nice to sail around the world. That is exactly what Neville and Catherine Hockley are doing.
The couple started their journey in Glen Cove New York on June 16, 2007 (Hey! that's my birthday! lol), anyway, as I celebrated my birthday in Alaska, the Hockley's set sail on an expedition that will lead them around the world on a sailboat.
Their website ZeroXTE.com charts their journey. Zero XTE stands for Zero Cross Track Error - Cross Track Error defines the distance that someone is off their course.
I encourage you to hop over to their site and take a look at their extraordinary journey so far, it has pretty much just begun, leading them from New York to Panama, but looks like it is going to be an amazing expedition that I think many of us have dreamed at one time or another of undertaking. I know my mom had.
