Trees for yard

I think I am going to cry now. ::pouts:: I want to plant a cherry tree, one of the lovely ones like the Pink Cloud Flowering Cherry tree that would dump layers of pink blossoms on the ground around it... unfortunately in looking at the Flowering Cherry at the TyTy Nursery website I discover that they are only hardy to -10F... we get to -40 here on a regular basis. ::sighs:: No flowering cherry trees for the yard, but I love the prices I saw on the cherry trees there, so I am not going to give up easily, I'm just going to shift focus to finding a hardier tree that will look lovely in the front yard. Must go well with the small apple trees and lilacs we already have.
