No idea what is going on around me

There is a chaotic roller coaster going on around me at the moment, one that leaves me not knowing day to day if I am here to plant flowers and a garden for dad, or if I am supposed to be packing my bags for an unscheduled road trip that neither me or my dad really wants to go on. I don't mind going, since it means I get to see at least one of my friends in the lower 48, but dad does not want to have to go anywhere, and he's sleeping a lot because he's worn out already, so he really does not need to wear out even more, and i think he knows that - but.... we'll see. I don't know what is going to happen, and it's all just a chaotic situation. We'll see what happens.
