Start of the month, time to pay the bills

I'm trying to sort out all the bills, needing to get them in line and paid for the month. And amazed by just how fast the bill paying days crept up on me. With the past week being turned on its head I lost a couple of days just to sheer chaos, but I'm still right on line with getting the bills paid on time, so no late fees or anything on any of them.

I need to get the office furniture sorted out for what goes in the office and what I have for my bill payment area, then I can settle in and actually get the bills paid smoothly. I've found that there is nothing like a nice cubby hold desk for sorting out the bills based on when they need to be paid over the course of a month. I just slip bills into the pigeon holes from end to end based on what week they are going to come due. It works very nicely, and the desk even has enough slots (especially with my mom's pigeon hole sorter stacked on top the desk), that I can track by the week and still have pigeon holes for bills that are to be paid the next month or ones that I had paid before the bill arrived in the mail.
