Something that you do not hear about very often are women that work in the field of plastic surgery. I'm not sure why not, but generally when I am thinking "plastic surgeon" I am picturing a guy. There are, however, women working in the field, such as Dr. Mary Powers.
Located in California, Dr. Powers is a board certified plastic surgeon working in Beverly Hills and Long Beach. Dr. Powers and her staff are able to assist women looking for a Female Plastic Surgeon that can provide them with a ladies touch in their plastic surgery procedures. From rhinoplasty to liposuction and, perhaps most importantly, breast reconstruction for those who are in need of such services due to breast removal because of breast cancer.

A surprising part of the website is the art gallery, where some of the paintings that Dr. Powers has created can be viewed. Encouraged from a young age by her mother and grandmother to be a doctor of plastic surgery, Dr. Powers attributes her love of art as being a key in preparing her for being a plastic surgeon and sees the creative process of the artist as being very like the creative process of the plastic surgeon.
