Stress and Chocolate

Okay, so, last night I had a half a chocolate bar. Not a small size one, mind you, a large one. BIG. Equal to about 4 small bars. And... I ate the whole bloody thing over the course of a few hours of intense stress. I want to find something, anything, to replace the stress reducing quality of chocolate. It is just plain evil that chocolate, the best stress reliever in existence, is also so bloody awful for my diet efforts.

I am trying very hard not to have to resort to using pills, because even the best diet pills would still be taking pills to fight the weight gained because of stress. I need something that can reduce my stress. Preferably something natural, non-fattening, and good for me. I suppose I am just a dreamer, though, because so far... chocolate is getting to be a very hard habit to kick.

I tried several different things. And even managed to cut out the chocolate for a few weeks. They were low stress weeks, however, and as soon as the stress hit once again - out came the chocolate. No... correction. I went to the store and bought chocolate. It's completely awful when you'll ride an ATV 20 miles to get something to combat the stress. Huh?
