Sometimes I think that none of the people that call early in the morning have any idea where they are calling. I suppose with all of the outsourcing stuff that is done most of them probably don't realize the time zones have a huge effect on their call times. For example, I keep getting woke up at 8 in the morning, which is not so bad, but I've had a few calls that came in at 7 in the morning. That is a bit bad. When I ask them "do you know where you're calling?" I tend to get an answer of "Yes, Arkansas". ::pounds head on the desk::
I would just like to let all the people that work for the call center outsourcing places know that the abbreviation for Arkansas is AR, AK is Alaska and there is I think about a 4 hour time difference between the two. So while calling Arkansas at 11 in the morning might be a great time to make a sale, you are likely to just tick off the Alaskan at 7 in the morning.
