Talkeetna Alaska Stops Anual Moose Dropping Festival

After 37 years there will be no more moose droppings in Talkeetna, Alaska.

For 37 years Talkeetna has had an annual moose dropping festival (no, we don't really take B1 strafing runs to drop moose on the citizens of Talkeetna, it was the annual dropping of moose droppings... yeah, weird.) Anyway, after 37 years there will be no more moose droppings dropped on Talkeetna, at least not unless dropped by the moose themselves.

There was an announcement of the end of the moose dropping festival tucked into the Talkeetna Good Times I picked up today. Tis a shame. I had always meant to attend the festival, but never got around to it. Now I guess I never will, and the worst part is, it was because of undesirables that were drawn to the festival that it was canceled.
