Time to start looking into new major appliances

I am a bit afraid that the refrigerator might be starting to give up and stop working. It is no surprise, since the stove has 3 out of 4 burners burned out. The poor refrigerator just seems to be having issues - such as giving my lettuce a bad case of frostbite even though the milk is barely to the proper coolness.

I was in town looking at side by sides in the store the other night, but they are all so expensive. The one that I want is the fridge over freezer one, with the freezer opening under the fridge. I do not want a drawer style though, I want to get the one that opens to the side so that I don't just have junk-drawer freezer area.

I would not mind getting a model with a water dispenser in the door either. Install a filter like the 4396510 filter for the Whirlpool Refrigerator, which is supposed to be a very good model that does not remove the fluoride with all the other things it removes.

It is all just a daydream at the moment, however, since it will be a very very long time before I could justify being able to get a new refrigerator, and even then, the cook stove comes first. Well... the house heater comes first, but that's only because I am sick of heating the water on the stove's single burner.
