It is time to get the holiday decorations out and get the house decorated for Christmas. I have been getting out some things I had not got out of their boxes for a while, and among them I found an old set of lights that can be set for a range of flashing patterns from steady on to flicker to a cascading colors effect. I have not decided what I will do with them yet, but then again, I also have not yet decided where the Christmas tree will go when I get it set up.
I am thinking that after the heater is in, I'll put the tree between the two front facing windows between the dining room and living room, which would place it directly across from where the fireplace is.
