Local.com

After a few minutes of searching the area around my place using Local.com I was pleasantly surprised by their accuracy of results for even the lesser known local places that are gems to find.

This is a local yellowpages style search engine that has partnered with sites such as Citysearch, Yelp and Yellowpages to create a single site resource for all of your needs when looking for local restaurants and local shops for any town. I even ran the little one horse town of Wauconda Washington through this looking for local restaurants and got information for the Wauconda Store and Cafe.

Wauconda would be a little one horse town in Washington if they had room for a horse. Instead it is just a single gas station, store and mini cafe out in the middle of nowhere between two towns in apple orchard and cattle country. I think if Local.com can find them, you won't have any problems when doing a local search anywhere else you might want to look into.
